Peach trees! The stairs.

After playing around with the structure and bits-that-are-lying-around i decided to go for a spiral staircase based on the 2 already made staircases. That meant I had to make 2 more using the same method and materials.

Stage 1, foam board cut. About 3 layers per step.

Then cover each side with thin plasticard.

Next i put textured plasticard steps on the staircase.

Finally, today, I used straws to add the  effect of supports, and to cover up the gaps in the plasticard. Also it adds a bit of detail to the flat sides.
